Global challenges
Santander X Global Challenge is a global competition aimed at startups and scaleups from 11 countries, seeking the most innovative solutions that help solve the most relevant problems for society.
The winners of each challenge will receive a cash prize, access to Santander X 100 and other high-value resources to support their business growth.

Local and global awards
The Santander X Local Award is a national competition that seeks to identify the best university businesses and the most outstanding startups from 9 countries. The winners from each country will compete in the Santander X Global Award to win the prize for the best global university business and startup.
The national and global winners will receive a cash prize, access to Santander X 100 and other valuable resources.

Register for the challenge/award
Complete the form with your company or project data.
Notifications and key dates
Your data will be evaluated and you will be notified the next steps of the challenge/award.
We resolve your questions
Whan you view the landing page for the specific challenge/local award, you will be able to see who it is aimed at and what minimum requirements you must meet to be able to apply.
To get a proof or registration you must go to your profile on Santander X, "NAME" and select "My Programmes". Within this section, you will be able to see the programmes you have applied for and the registration you have completed.
Yes, you can enter your company for more than one challenge/award at the same time. Please note that if you win one of the awards, you will not be eligible for another one.
Once you submit your application, an evaluation process begins where we validate it. If you move on to the next stage, you will be notified via email and you will have to complete the next steps. So, as you go through each stage, you will be notified and contacted.
We receive a high volume of applications for each challenge/award. If you are not selected, it is importante to know that your business has been evaluated against a number of criteria by a group of evaluators, and on this occassion, your company has not been selected to move on to the next phase.
You don't need to do anything. If you are at an advanced stage of the application process, you will already be in contact with someone from Santander and you will be able to notify them of your decision.
